We're sorry to hear you're thinking about canceling — we'd genuinely love the chance to help before you go.

Many of the most common reasons patients consider canceling are things our care team can actually help with:

  • Side effects or tolerability — your provider can adjust your dose or switch you to a different medication

  • Cost or billing concerns — reach out and we'll explore what options are available to you

  • Shipping or order issues — we can look into this right away and make it right

  • Needing a break — you can pause your treatment at any time and resume when you're ready, with no pressure

If any of these apply, please reach out to us at [email protected] — we're here to help find a solution that works for you.

Want to pause instead of canceling?

Pausing is a great option if you need a temporary break. Your account stays active, no future shipments go out, and you can resume whenever you're ready — no need to restart from scratch.

To pause in your patient portal:

  1. Navigate to Treatments

  2. Click on the Active Treatment you want to pause

  3. Go to Plan and select Pause Treatment

Ready to cancel?

If you'd still like to proceed with a full cancellation, here are your options:

Option 1 — Patient portal: Go to patient.effecty.com, navigate to Treatments, click on your Active Treatment, go to Plan, and select Cancel Treatment.

Option 2 — Email us: Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line 'Cancel my account' and our team will process it promptly and efficiently.

⚠️ Important: If your prescription has already been sent to the pharmacy for fulfillment, we can only cancel future shipments — not the current one in progress. If the prescription has not yet been sent, we can cancel the full order.

How multi-month plans ship

Multi-month plans do not ship one month at a time. Here is how each plan ships:

  • 3-month plan: Your full 3-month supply is sent in a single shipment. Once it has been sent to the pharmacy, there are no remaining shipments to cancel.

  • 6-month plan: Your supply is sent in 2 shipments (approximately 3 months of supply per batch).

  • 12-month plan: Your supply is sent in 4 shipments (approximately 3 months of supply per batch).

If you are unsure whether a future shipment is still pending, please contact our care team at [email protected] before requesting a billing adjustment — they can confirm your exact shipment status.
