How dosing works
GLP-1 medications start at a lower dose and increase step by step over time until you reach your maintenance dose, the dose you stay on. Starting low helps your body adjust and keeps side effects down.
Some people don't notice much change in appetite or weight until they're on a higher dose. That's normal, so it helps to stick with your plan.
Already taking a GLP-1?
If your last injection was within the past 2 months, you can usually continue at the same dose you were on. Enter your current dose accurately in your medical intake, and your provider will confirm it.
Want to change your dose?
Message your provider from your patient portal, or choose to increase your dose at your next check-in. Your provider will review it and adjust your plan if it's right for you. Effecty charges the same price for every dose.
